The chassis number on my car has gone rusty. Is there any way or any product that will restore it?

Thanks very much. I'll give it a go.
be sure to follow the instructions as it may damage good paint work or cause skin/eye iritation

If its rusted too much will it remove the number completely? Would I be better leaving on for less than 10 minutes just in case?
last time i used some was on light surface rust and it turned the rust black, supposedly reversing the oxidisation process, you need to prep the area before hand IE wire brush or sand paper to remove flakey loose bits, not sure about the exact time best check on instructions
