lacquer remover?

Hi all,
Does anyone know of a product that will remove lacquer from a set of plastic headlights? The ones I have found on the internet (Nitromorse) are only suitable to remove lacquer from wood and metal. I don't want to damage the headlight casings!

Hi, sprinky, you can use a bit of petrol on a rag, that with get rid of the lacquer for you, then put some glass cleaner on it after,
