how does one transfer from 5000 to 6000 rds easily?

been to fords and halfords No Help just bought a 2000 focus it had a 5000 tape deck so i bought a 6000 cd player same size but the wires don't fit,Please help!!!

you will need some inline crimps and a set of crimpers. Cut the old plug off and using the crimps, match the colours to your new plug. This is totally safe as long as you crimp them properly. this will then work. just make sure you connect aerial as this acts as a earth for the casing of the cd player. cheers
