There are some services just south of the M4 Junction 13 at Newbury. How easy is it to get onto these services from the M4 eastbound carriageway and then gain access to the same London-bound carriageway later when leaving?

according to signs on the motorway, you can access both A34 north/south and M4 east/west from Chieveley Services, although you will probably have to do the junction roundabout twice.
No problem. A bit of roundabout work and you are back on the eastbound.

It would be a strange set of services where you couldn't get back on the carriageway you came off.

If you meant can you reverse direction, you can do that aswell.
To confirm, go on Google, select maps and search for Newbury.

Zoom in on the junction

Click on Aerial for a photo if you like.
Its reasonably well signposted what you have to go to re-access the roundabout underneath Junc 13, which gets you back onto the M4, either E or W.

Thanks for that guys. I am trying to make arrangements from a long way away to meet with a not very experienced driver who often gets confused if not totally familiar with the route. I just couldn't picture how you did the getting back on the motorway thing. Thanks again.
