I recently had to replace a blown car headlight bulb. While hunting through the racks in the shop for the appropriate replacement, I noticed that the type I wanted was also available in a xenon version.

What are the pros and cons of replacing standard headlight bulbs with xenon bulbs? The xenon one didn't seem to cost much more than the standard one.

I've also heard that, if you want to flash your headlights, there is a delay with xenon bulbs. Is that true?
