We have a V70 and I can't for the life of me work out if its possible to remove the bar behind the rear seats that houses the boot cover. Does anyone know if you can do this without actually unscrewing it (and ruining it knowing my luck!)>

TIA

It must be easy, it will tell you how in the car handbook.

If you don't have one, get one.

Thanks Toureman, will have a look
Hi TIA
If you haven't got it out yet -
It's spring loaded. Grip one end close to the window and sqeeze/pull towards the opposite side, and the housing will come away from the seating - it's held in with two lugs. Pull the end you are holding away from the back of the seat and the whole bar will come out.
