engine warning light

hi can over filling the engine with oil cause the engine warning light to come on if so do i have to take it to a dealers to reset it ?

You should have a seperate light for your oil and for electrical problems. The engine warning light is usually a damged senor or specific problem with the engine. I doubt over filling your oil would trigger this.

Always best to get an expert opinion. Dont want to do more damage driving round on it!
