I am considering buying one of these (max 2 years old).
Does anybody have any good or bad stories of owning one of these?
Thanks

the only problems i have seen on this car is the oil seal sometimes fails on the turbo and a vauxhall recall for premature wear of a rear suspension arm bush which they replace the full arm. the only other thing is that there is not a diagnostic machine capable of communicating with this car other than vauxhall so you would need to go to vauxhall for any engine management problems.thats the only faults i have came across but other than that nice cars in my opinion.

Thanks for such a speedy response david.
All sounds run of the mill probs.
I had the 120bhp version of this Vectra - It was quite possibly the worst car I've ever had the misfortune to own.
Drove and handled like a wardrobe.
Pity - because it was a great loadlugger but there were lots of faults- alarm problems, tailgate strut failed but the most serious was a sudden loss of power on several occasions - not good if you're in the fast lane of motorway. Vauxhall couldn't find anything wrong with the engine management. Traded it in after only having it for 10 months.
Perhaps I'm not being fair on it - maybe it was a Friday afternoon manufacture :-)
