I used to work as a used car salesman and hated it when you could see potential buyers walking up to a car holding their 'parkers so-called guide' which despite only being a few years ago they were adamant that their 1981 talbot horizon was worth at least 2k (because thats what it said in the parkers guide)
800 is a good shout on your car but then again it all depends on the screen price of the vehicle you`ve been looking at
I always check auto trader and see what they are going for

But i do agree with tease
My experience is that Parkers is not that good and only an indication.

However dealers mainly use Glasses Guide and that is available online for a fee of 2.50 (mileage adjusted price) This will give you a trade in and an Idea of what it's worth.

Thanks for the answers Irony is that another dealer nearby has a similar Mondeo with 99,500 on the clock without the fsh for 2499!

Think I'll try for a private sale they are going for 1200-1500 in my local Autotrader
