Not a question, so apologies for that - but i just wanted to use the AB to say how great to see the Hamster back on Top Gear tonight.

Did you see how well he kept it together when they were showing/debating his huge crash.

Hats off to the Hamster !

Thanks all.

Well said JackDaniels !

Thanks for joining in and showing support : -)

You should apply for some tickets to go see the show - long waiting list though as you'd expect !

If you're interested i'll post the link for you.

good wishes friend.

Damn, you beat me to it! :) Was going to do the same.
Watched it in the Security office at work as I was leaving site. :).

I thought they did the show brilliantly and in true TG style. :)
Think the hamster was getting close to tears a couple of times but I loved the way it was done. Glad to see them back on screen, the comment on Jade topped it off beautifully too. :)

Richard Hammond is so lovely! It was really nice to see him back on Top Gear tonight, Sundays aren't the same with those three.

I had to miss a couple of bits though...what was the Jade comment?

Disclaimers etc aside, i'll bet some poop hit the fan for the tyre de-laminating....

makes you think about speed.

I found that the birth of my boy 'Zack, slowed me down enormously having ridden / raced big cc bikes for many years. Makes you feel erm .. Vulnerable.

I had close to late 190's out of my much worked on Yamaha R1 but i'd never do it again.

D'oh.

Eddie
Apparently the road safety compaigners have been moaning because JC implied that Speed doesn't kill. (remember the bit near the end where he looks at Hamster :))
Actually, it does but 8 out of 10 accidents are caused by distractions.
A tyre blowing at 288 mph would certainly come under that banner.

Gets my goat up that People can jump on the slightest little thing and demand apologies / retractions etc. They should read some of JC's eariler stuff. It is journo gold but they would have a field day! :)
I read on tv text that the owner of the car said it was partly Hammond's own fault - something to do with him not following instructions? When I went back to look again (as I couldn't believe it!) the page had gone. Anyone know anything about that?

(My god! I could be sued for mentioning it!)
