Re : the stereo that's in the current Volkswagen Passat, does anyone know how to switch off the TP Mode (Traffic Reports) that cut in at random moments???

I think that you have to press and hold the "TP" button you will then be given the chance to turn the system on and off as req'd this is done using the left and right arrow buttons. Let me know how you get on.

Thanks Graham1608, but it didn't work out. Pressing and holding the TP button only takes me into a menu for some other settings, but no options to switch it off. There is not even an explanation of how to switch it off in the instruction manual! This is certainly puzzling everyone else I know who has tried.
