hi if anyone could help i would be very very gratefull i have a 2000 x reg 2.0 ghia focus my window washers went empty and the light on the dash board came on i refilled them and cant get the light off i have tried washing the tub out but it doesnt seem to be helping if any one has any idea i would be gratefull i have looked up the book for the car but it doesnt seem to cover this problem thanks kerry

I would imagine it is activated by a float mechanism. If this is sticking it could cause the light to stay on.

Did you add screen wash? perhaps the sensor is viscosity sensitve? i,d try emptying the reservoir by pressing the button,then re filling with screen wash with the ignition off...
