Need Replacement Rubber Wiper Blades

for my Yaris. If I go to Halford's (other car repair stores are availabe, I expect) and ask them to fit them for me, will I be ripped off?

They have a small charge for fitting them. You are better buying complete blades rather than just the rubber. They aren't too dear.

Most replacements just clip in place, Is there a Mr B who can clip, if not it's like a 5 minute job, maximum, allowing for a chat as well!

Yep Baldric, I do have Sgt Troy, but he's muttering about different types of blades and neither of us can make head nor tail of what's available on Amazon, etc.,..(he's dyslexic, + I'm just dozy). That's when I came up with the Halford's idea. But now I'm thinking Halford's could just look the make and model up, sell me the correct blades, then Sgt Troy could fit them.

Yes they have a computer specially for sorting out the correct blades for your make and model of car. As said a £3 fitting charge.

I was a bit concerned re Halford's because he needed to replace a headlamp bulb on his car, but he couldn't physically do it, and Halford's charged him just short of £20 to do it, which seemed a bit OTT......;)

Usually a blade with rubber attached will come with four or five attachments.
Halfords do a little booklet by the blade shelf and you find your car model and year. Front or Back blade. It will give you a code no like BHL 230 for example.
£3 is money well spent for someone to do it for you though.

I think he was ripped off.Normally I change my own bulbs but the car I had at the time,PT Cruiser I think, my hand was too big to squeeze through the gap inside the engine bay. Young girl at Halfords with smaller hands did it for a couple of Groats.

*update*........got sorted at Halford's,......2 new front wipers, fitted for £24.28.

They said it wasn't possible to replace just the rubber blades.
OH went mad when I phoned to tell him,....claimed they're wrong and have screwed me over :(

Is this like when I went to Kwikfit with one puncture and came away with 4 new tyres? ....:/
