My friend wants to remove the rear bumper of his 2003 BMW 320D FACELIFT MODEL ( he's not computer literate ) but I can't find the information. It's barely lsted , does the D stand for diesel ?
However the 320d doesn't give the bumper information either .

Any ideas ? Are there manuals available.?

I don't think there is any real difference in removing a pre or post facelift E46 bumper

(yes D stands for diesel, not that that makes any difference either)
D (Diesel)

As you look at the rear bumper, the black strip that goes around the back / sides, remove that to see the Bolts, also remove the N/S>>OFF / S mud flaps & remove the plastic under wing splash Guards. as you start to remove the bumper, disconnect the reverse sensors plugs, then remove. Just a tip, as the bumper is removed, grease the bodywork in the area , also the bumper bolt areas.
You only need to remove the trim on salons, only on the coupes.
