Is it easy to get a replacement and does it cost? Have no idea where the original has walked off to!!!

Why do you need it...

(You don't really get given a MOT certificate anymore... it's more a receipt of a MOT pass, the details are all on computer)
yes it is you can get one from the MOD site, well it's actually a summary of every mot the car has had, you just need certain details on the car, i think it's the chassis number, i got 6 years worth of mot history when i bought the car.

definately useful if like me you've bought an older vehicle without much history, it showed that for the last 6 years it had only done between 3 and 4 thousand miles a year.

It does not cost you a penny to down load the Info from the site given May, print it off & keep the info should you ever decide to sell your car.
