Am I the only one who feels a little bit sorry for Kevin? OK, cocked up big time but it takes two to tango, and Molly is suddenly exalted to sainthood. Given the three sour shrews he has to live with, he's probably better off out of it.

Good acting I would say....

I've only watched Corrie this last week...I've liked it so far...bet I'll be bored when this saga is over though.
Question Author
Watched it since 1960 when I was 11, and have never been bored since.
My good wife watched it earlier and is watching it again now, still convinced its real.No chance of mad max.
Really? wow...

1960...I was -13 :-)

I don't think my Mum ever watched it so never got into it. I've obviously seen bits here and there over the years. Seen it at other peoples houses and read mags...so this week wasn't hard to get the jist of.

Where's Kim Marsh gone? (I was going to say her band name but I can't remember it)
Question Author
She's still in it, acting as Carla's chauffeur-cum-supervisor.
I've watched it from day 1, holidays it is taped, usually 3.5 weeks, sometimes a problem but I won't go if I cannot manage it. Sad really but I have lived it for so long I can't do without it.
I put this in another thread but, will repeat here as well.

I was disappointed with the writers that Kevin landed in the grave on top of Molly's coffin, its been done a few times in the past in soaps and sit-coms.

I would have preferred Tyrone to have picked up the shovel to smack Kevin, but missed and hit Sally. :-)
Sally had an affair so why the fuss? Great acting all the same.
Great acting???????/......OMG GET REAL

I agree when you say good acting. I think it's acting at it's best, and probably harder than acting in a film. I've watched since 1960 too although probably not so much in my teenage years. Sometimes, my friends have a whinge if there's a silly story-line or if there's something which just wouldn't happen in real life. I've always thought that they don't "do" weddings very well i.e. the guests never include a whole squad of bride and grooms friends and always include all the old people from the street.
...sorry - forgot to answer your question. No, I on't feel sorry for Kevin. I did wonder what Molly saw in him though - he's not exactly Mr Exciting. I was in tears when Saly gave Tyrone the baby las night - very moving. Maybe Kevin is gong to be the "4th death".
So horseshoes Clint Eastwood, Harrison Ford , Meryle Streep, judi Dench, ant the like would struggle in Corrie...??? lol. Whats the wether like on t6he planet where you are???
Where were all Molly's relatives at the funeral - even her dad wasn't there.
they had been signed up in HOLLYWOOD...HAHA
Strange Sally doesn't display any sort of guilt .. after that 'fling' with the car delare a few years ago.

Hasn't Kevin had affairs before too?
Question Author
Can anyone actually remember Molly's dad, Diggory, from his brief appearances in The Street as a baker? Made Fred Elliott look like a shrinking violet.
I think overall the acting standard in Corrie is pretty high.....which is why so many established theatre actors queue up for a part in it.
