Is it the one by Guy Lombardo? Try googling him and see what comes up, I believe it's also by The Mountain Goats

thanks for your reply, i tried both of those and alas its not either of them, omg im gonna pop ..... how can i not know this song ! ..... the advert starts with elliot greeting a patient who has a very squeeky voice ... its the current trailer for scrubs in the uk on the Comedy channel .....
