Does anyone know the poem that Hathaway quoted to Scarlet, following their meal together, as they stood in the door way to her flat....? Thanks.

It is from a poem by Houseman, I think it is The Shropshire Lad. It is about childhood.

Hi, thanks Boxtops and carolegif.... I thought it might be 'Shropshire Lad', but they're so many I can't find which one....
I seem to remember something about 'spires' and the last line I believe sounded something like..."it would never come again..." ??

Thanks for your help.
