Dixiegal I paid £7 for it in 1953 that's about £70 in todays money!
dot, is there anyway i can get to read the posts that john1066 has made with regards to the antiques road show, as id be interested to have a little read of them.
i went to see dickinsons real deal being filmed back in april and it was televised yesterday on itv, lol, there i was, as clear as clear, looking a right plonker standing by the screen behind the dealer and member of public while they were doing their bit. .. gawd.. talk about cringe or what when i saw myself lol.
but, seeing how it was filmed was so interesting though, it was really good, and seeing just how many times they need to re shoot certain bits till they get it right is really surprising.
i got to have my picture taken with mr david creosote dickinson too!! .. wow! ... yes i know... bet youre all jealous now arent you ... NOT ... lol ...
