Yes me too,when is it airing?I was gutted to hear about Anthony Minghella,all his work was beautifully done and i loved the way he used the light and just the whole richness of the scenery involved in his films.Such a loss,with so many great films under his belt who knows what he could have gone on to achieve.

I just know the series is still being filmed but don`t know when we`ll see it, only that it`s in 2009.

i really enjoyed it and i'm looking forward to the series i didn't realise they were making one. i did get a bit confused with them having a digi camera but no pc though!

I thought these books were for Young Adult Readers. We have them in our school's library. I don't think the series airs here in US. I am going to check out the books. Does the series translate into enjoyable adult TV?

To EngTeach, I found nothing in the film that I couldn`t show young adults. It`s had excellent reviews here in UK.
