This morning says that the average boyfriend, takes you out once a month, never buys you flowers and will drop you in a second for a night out with his friends. True to anyone?

take you out is true. Never bought flowers and I wouldnt ditch her for a night out with mates but would for a night of passion with this girl of whome Im currently trying to sleep with.

well i think i am quite lucky then! my boyfriend would never ditch me for his mates, and he buys me flowers every couple months or so!
We try and have one night a week out, which we take it turns to pay for... either going out for a meal, or going away somewhere for the night! he takes me out usually on special occassions and if i've been a good girl! lol

some people are different though, I wouldnt want my bloke to take me out every week, would rather save money and my bloke doesnt ditch me for mates but we have a few nights through week where we do are own thing, I love him going out with his mates. And flowers are for special occasions as a suprise for me. :-) But doesnt mean because of this he loves me any less.

We go out to spend some quality time together to get away from the stress of work etc and to save one of us cooking so we can both relax. We both work long hours. I'm not suggesting that your boyfriend loves you less...but as you say everyone is different!
I dont stop my boyfriend going out with his friends, but he doesnt really drink so going to the pub and getting ****** isnt really his thing. He still sees them...just they do different stuff together like go to the rugby etc.

I would take gf's out as often as possible, I have never bought a girl flowers in my life and if I had the opportunity of a night out with the lads, I'd speak to her first and spoiil her rotten the next time we went oot

oih I forgot to mention I ditch my girlfriend 1 weekend every month to go kitesurfing.

yes thats why I said everyone is different, and I didnt say you suggested it. Thats lovely that you spend time together how you like, and my bloke doesnt really drink either its usually just to see his friends. Its me that goes up the pub :-) Its just as I got older I made a deal I wouldnt drop my mates like I did when I was younger. But as for the flowers get him to give the money to a charity :-)

Was that survey written by someone recently dumped or treated bad then? The only reason we dont go out more is because now Im 8 months pregnant, I find an evening out a struggle but before that, he would take me out all the time, mostly for meals and the odd night on the town. Ok so he hasnt brought me flowers but Im not a flower person and he spoils me in other ways and I get lots of treats. If he has a night out with his mates now, its usually because Ive told him to have a night out! I think he has only had one night out since christmas bless him.

Mr CRX has badminton and fire training on 2 nights a week. If he wants to go night fishing he does it on a day Im staying at mums. I get flowers on birthdays or valentines (which is lovely as I never got flowers from my exes really). He doesnt take me out as such, but we go out as a family for lunches rather that as a couple for dinners. Neither of us drink so going out with mates isnt really our thing.

dont know, maybe some dont like to be in eachothers pockets and some do. I guess with me and my bloke we have different mates so its easy to have nights apart. I think that if I;m gonna be with him rest of my life then a few night apart doesnt faze me.

when i was younger, so much younger than today i used to go out all the time with my mates and my wife always throws it in my face that i went out with them on my 30th and left her at home. But nowadays i never go out without her, but i rarely get her flowers.

We dont really get bored, we love each others company and make each other laugh! we always have something to talk about!
Even if we're just in bed cuddling we can have the best night ever. Sometimes he annoys me if we've spent too much time together i just have a night with my friends or at my mums. I usually stay at my mums a ciouple times a week anyway.

thats just because everyones different 4get. Some couples want that, just as sone couples like their own space once a week and some thrive on arguing and making up.
