Years ago there was an advert with a song that went a little like 'Alright now, Baby its alright now' with the car driving in the desert or whatever and i've neva been able to find this song.

By the sounds of it, I think it was "Alright Now" by "Free".

Oh the classic "rip-a-piece-of-chewing-gum-in-half-and-share-it-with-a-lady" adverts! Has anyone actually done that?

Jansy is spot on. It is one of these tracks which always appears on classic rock compilations. Check the bargain bins in any store.

Without going all Spellma's'ter about it, it's actually 'All Right Now' rather than two words. Hope that helps you find it!
