Anyone know if it's ever coming back to our screens? I love Rescue Me but it's not the same!

I wouldnt have thought so, James Hazeldine who played Bayleaf died a few years back unfortunately. I used to love watching it, I actually got to see them filming once around Rotherhithe,it was a freezing cold night and the scene they were filming took hours,however when it was shown on telly it only lasted about 5 minutes!
No chance, I'm afraid. They really loused up the last series, didn't they? They cut out all the comedy, sidelined the older characters and turned it into who's-bonking-who. I thought "Steel River Blues" (which came out a couple of years later, basically the same as classic London's Burning but set oop north) should have come back, but I think the ratings weren't justifying the cost.
