Hi, reading in the paper yesterday that Richard and Judy are calling it a day (hurrah) apparently he thinks he can become the next Parky (delusions of grandieur or just deluded??) Well i for one wont miss the pompous kn*b and she off to write books (?) Anybody else miss them, or couldnt care less one way or the other? Thanks - just wondered if its only me that cant stand them xx

Oh I'm delighted at the news, they p*** me off something awful! And as for him being the next Parky - well he'll have to learn to shut up for five minutes that's for sure. I've noticed that whenever he's interviewing anybody on their show it's always the sound of his voice rather than his guest's voice which filters through!

And as for her writing books. Well you can be sure that with todays publishing values she can be as appalling as Joan Collins and every word she puts down will be triumphantly published - not, I feel certain, that I'll be reading any of it, I greatly fear she'll be as patronising in print as she is in real life!

Parkinson is vastly overrated. If Madeley wants to emulate him, then he must really lack ambition.
Question Author
i agree with Parky being overrated, but as for Dick lacking amition? i always got the impression he was overly ambitious far and beyond his wildest dreams ; )
I only watch R&J to see how cringeworthy Richard is. And to watch poor Judy wringing her hands in embarassement!!

(note to self)..........get out more :(
