The movie has just started and I was wondering if their are any explanations as to why I am watching it. I have seen it at the cinema and on Brighton Beach Big Screen, have an old copy on VHS and TWO copies on DVD. I saw it about two months ago, yet I am going to watching it on TV with no surround sound and bloody adverts.

A marque of a good film? Boredom? Or stupidity.

I have just opened a bottle of Paul Mason red, whilst only !0 take out from my pub (about 4.50 at Waitrose) it is bloody good plonk.

I also have about 30 small wedges of vintage Stilton and some black grapes to munch on.

Does life get any better?

mmmm i love cheese now you have mentioned it Joe i will have to eat some
no the answer is life does not get any better , the tv scheldule is crap !
I know what you mean- I watch films I know back to front on TV whereas it would not occur to me to get the DVD out and watch it. I think there is something subconscious about the fact that it is on NOW and if you don't watch it, you will miss it. The DVD is always there, so you never watch it!

mmmmmmmm Nigela. Or maybe Madeleine Stowe. I am not fussy.

Girls........... if you had to sleep with Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw or Richard Dreyfuss in their heyday, who would it be?

Ladies I am surprised. I did say heyday. Do you not remember Robert Shaw in From Russia With Love??

Hey ho. Funny bunch of birds you lot.
They are all old enough to be your papa
Sometimes familiarity =contentment x x
I don't know whether I should admit this Wardy...what with being Irish and Catholic but I have never seen From Russia With Love :-(
Question Author
Shame on you ummmmmmmmmmm. Deep shame.
That can be my mission for this weekend. I will report back to you :-)
OH Robert Shaw without a doubt! Richard Dreyfuss looks like a teddy and Roy Scheider looks like a salmon.
First I had to ask what heyday was... now I can't remember how Robert Shaw looked... that's awful to have a bad memory! Just don't think it would be the Schneider one anyway...
