Corrie - Ashley & Claire's house

I was watching Corrie last night and noticed the stairs in Ashley's house have moved!! They are on the opposite side of the lounge, now next to the door not the opposite side where they used to be. How did this happen, what's going on?? Any ideas?

I have no idea how this has happened either smudge but I have been wondering the exact same thing. I was watching it the other night and couldn't quite place what had changed, then it hit me, the stairs have not only moved but didn't they used to be wooden not white as they are now, and where did that stupid bit of wall come from?
I know its not reality but did the producers think no-one would notice?
