She look different now to the fat slags film. She's a bit dippy in Eastenders.

I remember her from 'Emma' as Miss Bates with Gwyneth Paltrow and Ewan McGregor, she was brilliant. There's a touch of the Miss Bates in Stella or pehaps that's Sophie Thompson. I like her all the same, Phil does'nt deserve her anyway and that boy however traumatised he is needs taking in hand!

Emma Thompson's sister. She was in the movie version of Dancing At Lughnasa too - plus I've seen her on stage loads of times, including the Sondheim shows (yes, she sings too!) Into The Woods and Company at the Donmar.

She was in a film at the weekend with Julie Andrews in it. Dunno what it was called. To be honest, I thought that as Stella, she must have just got her first acting job. Not sorry to see her leave. Though I would rather it had been Ben. He is just plain EVIL!
