Auschwitz Series Theme

I've been watching Auschwitz on UKTV History and I'm intrigued as to what the end credits music is. It also crops up on Channel 4's "The Search". Can anybody tell me what the music is and who it's by, please?

i too have watched the Auschwitz series and enjoy the closing music and have been searching for it ever since.

i even wrote to the Beeb, but they dont give out such information.

so im still searching. if i eventually find it, i will get back to you, as they say :-)

To be honest I had forgotten about the question being posted, but I've found the answer myself. It is "Suite for keyboard (Suite de piece), Vol.2, No.4 in D minor, HWV 437: Sarabande"

i had got to the 'sarabande' bit of my search, but i was stuck after that.

but now the mystery has been cleared up.
