Why can brian the dog talk in family guy and other dogs cant?

can everyone hear stewie talking or only some?

Brian is the only one who can hear Stewie talk, God knows why Brian is the only dog who can talk lol, great show isn't it?

Everyone can hear Stewie talk (Lois responds to him frequently) but they just put it down to teething or him just being grumpy.

Everyone can hear Brian too (he is Peters best friend) though it has never been explained why he can talk.

Yeah but doesn't everyone else just hear "baby talk" when Stewie talks? lol

Yes most people hear just baby talk when Stewie talks apart from Brian and on a few occasions Meg and Peter.
