I haven't watched one for many long year. How would works like Pinocchio, Lady and the tramp, or Bambi, compare with modern ones?

Watch a couple and see what you think..... that would be the best plan!
I recorded 'Jungle Book' the other day. Watched it and saved it for another day.

Still as good today as it was in 1967
I watched Jungle Book - it was good alright but wouldn't save it.

Watched Bambi some time ago and enjoyed it too but again wouldn't save it.

I set out to watch the old cartoons as they are subtitled and so it would be the first time I would have understood what was being said and sung - that makes it pleasurable.

I think if we first see them through child's eyes there's a magic that wouldn't stand adult scrutiny. Probably best not to go back.
I enjoyed them Sandy - but if you have seen them before then it probably wouldn't be magical enough for you.
Better!
