I find this programme very good. You really have to think and it is well thought out. The only problem with it is the final which if the contestant does not know a answer it is 3 minutes of silence . The main problem with the quiz are the contestants. If you just went outside the studio and dragged people in it might even be better. One final involved having to name 5 Dr Who's .The contestant one and he did not that it was one. Today's finalist had to name biggest grossing film in a series. She could not even name James Bond or Harry Potter but thought Bridget Jones was one. They certainly need some brighter contestants or the show will pall with no winners.

I enjoy this quiz but record it so that I can whizz through the inbetween chat. I don't know if it's just my eyes but I find some of the rounds where there's something on screen to study, like pages of a book from which to elicit answers, or even the keypad or the shop window/the stamps in passports - really difficult to read. I usually watch on my kitchen tv but it has a 19" screen so not that small. Maybe I just need to get my eyes tested.

Yes, I agree the calibre of contestants is pretty poor. I've just caught up with Friday's edition and there was a guy who had to come up with tv shows but from the letters given, he had to advance them by one. So even if you hadn't heard of the various shows, you could work them out from the letters and he didn't even try, just kept passing.
