Dont you realise how you (the audience) are manipulated by this show.

The show makers WANT him to stay in, even if he is awful, so people talk about him and comment on him, making more people want to watch the show.

All the "arguments" and "problems" are created just to keep the show in the public eye.

It is NOT a talent show, it is a reality TV show, no better than big brother.

The X Factor is looking for someone with just that, the X Factor

Rylan has just that for many people, and certainly for those who keep voting for him to stay
For every person who hates, he gets 2 more votes to stay

Look at Gareth Gates - can't sing for toffee and where did his career go? Down the tubes.
Will Young - fabulous singer and his career has taken off in a way he never thought possible
Robbie Williams is a carp singer, but for entertainment value he isn't too bad
Olly Murs, not a bad singer but more X Factor than last years winners who are where? Never to be heard of again

Not that I'm watching you understand ...... well, not all of it anyway
