I suppose it depends what you mean by a celebrity and whether it counts if you already know the person...
Why do you keep posting the same question?
I wrote to Manchester United a couple of years ago, hoping to get some of the players autographs as a birthday surprise for a young fan. They wrote back telling me that I would need to write again, writing a separate letter to each of the players I wanted, and send a separate stamped addressed envelope for each reply.
I once wrote to Michael Barrymore before he fell from grace. I cant remember
exactly what it was about but it was a get well card, and I just wished him
well and added some words of encouragement. Such a shame, as he had a lot
of talent all gone to waste. But I suppose he's got to live with what happened.
So has that poor bloke's family. I did receive back a signed photo and a thankyou.
bluesfan why did they want separate letters surely they only needed one and get the coach to read it outloud.
i wrote to gary lineker to ask why he was always put the west bromwich albion football team down on match of the day even when they had won he never had anything good to say he wrote back saying the manager at the time bryan robson was a good friend and that he wishes him and the team well and he didnt think he put them down
