Really enjoyed it, good entertainment William did well considering he isn't familiar with the show and this made it funnier, regular guests Ian and Paul seemed to enjoy it as well.

Denny Crane! :)
I never saw the sci fi thing he was in, I think, but when I've seen him in other thing on TV he seemed very full of himself, hope Merton and Hislop slap him down.

Has he been enjoying the BBC hospitality tray or is he usually incoherant?
that was good fun

i'm glad you enjoyed it bib. i'll look forward to it
He was quite funny I thought! :-)
The very worst episode of all time! For the first time ever, I was desparate for it to finish, I know this guy's well known apparently but he's incapable of stringing a sentence together, doesn't understand what he's reading and doesn't understand the programme at all. I'm amazed at the reaction of the usually quite cool audience, bring back Bruce Forsyth even!

D97x7. he does have a sense of humour - and can take a ribbing with the best of them. i'm pleased you enjoyed it .. thank you
Zebo, of course he has no idea what he is talking about. He is a Canadian who lives mainly in the US and has no need to know anything about English football and politics.

I thought it was funny after a shaky start :)

I agree with zebo - the programme was terrible, why have a prat like that chairing a show of that type.
Thank God Paul Merton and Andy Hamilton were there.
Superb, if you missed it, catch up on iPlayer.
clearly a marmite edition
