Can someone tell me why Amy is upset and worried at the new guy who is in the village? What have I missed?

I think she's a good little actress but her makeup and hair bother me haha. She plays the mardy cow role to a T! :)

I think we are supposed to be wondering what she did - I wonder if he will turn out to be her brother? Perhaps she murdered her parents or something? Perhaps she will kill him to keep him quiet?
