Jason Isaacs - mmm nice (but not as nice as Idris).
Anyway - I just had to look up details on the little actress who plays his daughter Marlee. She really is a little gem and I knew I had seen her in something else recently. She was Evie in the drama Single Father with David Tennant.

A name to watch I think. Along with Ramona whatsername who plays Karen in Outnumbered, and the girls who plays Belle in Emmerdale & Tiffany in EE - there is some real young girlie talent out there.

there is but it took ten minutes for me to turn over to another programme, one look at keith allen and his ugly mug, had me reaching for the remote.

I quite like Keith Allen. Though all that back hair was a bit of a turn-off !!
hairy gorilla, and the swear words, sorry but most unnecessary, i do like Jason Issacs however, but his mumbling after he came out of the sea after seeing that girl, i couldn't understand a word he said.
Question Author
You'd mumble if you'd just staggered out of the North Sea !!
probably, but he is supposed to be playing someone from cumbria, not sure thats right but i honestly couldn't understand a word, besides i cannot abide keith allen, so much up his own backside, along with all that hair, ugh
An hour of my life I won't get back, total crap.

If it was that crap ever - why did you stick with it for an hour?!
have not watched this weeks...viewed last weeks 2 parter last night..thought it was good...Edinburgh does look nice on telly...
Question Author
It does murray. There was one particular shot last night, set at either dusk or dawn which was absolutely spectacular.
thats why i turned over to watch something else, no point in continuing, if you thinks its rubbish.
Yet another example of an excellent book being spoilt by the dead hand of tv. The book One Good Turn is densely plotted, impossible to translate into 2 hours of viewing time, and meanwhile all its subtlety and wit are lost. The author has been done no favours.

Em10, there's no shame in using subtitles if you can't make out mumbling.
this is a great programme, spoiled only by the inclusion of that well known chappy who can't act to save his wotsits....you know the bloke.....keith allen
salla,Wife was watching it,In this House I had no other choice!! Hen-pecked or what?
I did take a peek at tonights effort, but no sorry not for me.
Hadn't realised there were so many English people in Edinburgh.
