In the jungle, the South African jungle,
Three lions sleep tonight,
Then in the morning, the early morning,
They have to catch a flight.

A win? No way! A win? No way!
A win? No way! A win? No way!
A win? No way! A win? No way!
A win? No way! A win? No way!

God, I hate it when it's been done before.

It makes me look so slow !

Sorry, guys.

Hey, hang on ... why do my pals always text me these things a day late?

Am I at the bottom of their list ?????

But then the original song made no sense either ...

Surely lions live on the plains ... not in jungles.
Its pitched at football supporters. They care nothing of natural habitat or african topology.
These could be really daft lions. The lion worlds equivalent of Curly Larry and Moe.

I think David Attenborough is a well known Chelsea fan.

Actually, you're right ... that means he's not a real football supporter.

I'm going to have that in my head all day....
Yes but I bet it won't have the same powerful, emotional thought provoking meaning, now that you know lions don't live in the jungle China?
stricly, jungle is an Indian word and refers to particularly dense rainforest; so only Asian lions live in the mighty jungle, and they're almost extinct anyway. I wish these songs had to be vetted by professional geographers before they were released.
It's a sad but true fact you have there Mick, the song is now ruined for me...
Well at least we still have ' making your mind up' China
