J.Alexander question

I happen to have a little peep at Canada's Next Top Model on tv and the guest judge was J. Alexander (model - born Alexander Jenkins). He reminds me so much of an actor who played a flamboyant gay character but I cannot see anywhere in his 'history' that it could possibly be JA.

My question is: does he look similar to someone else (or related to an actor). At first I thought it was the bloke from the film 'Kinky Boots' but it's not then I vaguely remember a film called 'Mannequin' but that's too long ago.

Any ideas?
