Not Samuel Barber's 'Adagio For Strings', is it? Was also used in 'Platoon'. Very much a shot in the dark, as I didn't see "Apprentice', but I love a challenge!

no its not that one but thanks for trying you canactually hear the track it you got to http://www.bbc.co.uk/apprentice/ then click the button that says 'Watch the final in full' then if you move the butoon along the bottom when the programme is playing to about a centemeter it gets to a point when michelle is talking in the car and the last thing she says is "i believe i can co that" then it changes onto a view of the London tower bridge and that song im sfter starts playing then a voice over talks over it saying " tower bridge, one of Londons most famous land marks"

SOMEONE MUST KNOW HEEEEELP!!!!

if you go to the apprentice bit on the BBC website and click of FAQ's, there is a question re: the songs used in each episode. Hopefully the song that you are after will be stated here. Good luck.
