Does anyone know why derek left in Eastenders. Can't for the live of me think and i always watch Eastenders.

Yep left after some arguements with Pauline I think, and went to live and be with his estranged son, wherever that was!

I thought it was funny while Derek was still in Eastenders when he said "Oh Hello Pauline, I was just looking through some of our old photo albums" I found that real funny as he was only her lodger
