Towards the end of last summer I bought a portable aircon unit - whereupon the sun disappeared for 7 months and I got a lot of 'amusing' flak about the expensive 'ornament' I had bought.

I am now sitting in a delightfully pleasant room with cool air wafting around me - and considering whether I may need to put a jumper on if it gets any chillier.

I am now awaiting calls from the mockers asking if they can 'pop round for a drink' ...

Nope - a proper refrigerated one with an exhaust out of the window/wall.

I have a Challenge air cooler that uses ice blocks, Ethandron if that's what you mean...are you considering buying one?
