Its pretty sad when you vote for these people who are being paid a staggering £25,000 basic amount just for being on there and that increases if they get to the last few weeks.The dancers?they get a very handsome £30,000.

I think it may be worse than you believe Grumpy01/ I read somewhere that they get £25K to go on the show and if they get to the end of October it rises to £40K then the semi-finalists get £75K and the winner £100K.

The pro dancers get a huge boost to their profile - they would not be known outside the dance circle if they weren't on Strictly. They make big money on the back of the show.
