What Is Scripted Reality Tv?

Speidi on CBB are aparently from a scripted reality tv show in the US but what is scripted TV?

Do they get topics to talk about or told what to say all the time?

They get scripts and prompts and subjects to talk about. They will be told to cause drama as well and have an argument. Some of it is based on real events that have happened to them in the past, so they just reenact it.

I have never seen towie or anything else like that (i'm too old to enjoy them LOL)

I did watch about 5 minutes of The Hills on MTV the other day but thought it was such utter garbage that I turned over.

The Hills was fab the first couple of seasons. By the time the last season came, Speidi were gradually going more and more insane and she was becoming more and more controlled, it was odd to watch.

TOWIE is tragic but it's so funny to watch. They try really hard, bless them!

What have they done to warrant a tv show? I'd never heard of them before BB.

They were famous on The Hills, especially towards the end when all the main characters had left. They then went on I'm a Celeb US and caused so much drama there, leaving, coming back, leaving again, demanding to see lawyers etc. That is, I think, when people began to be really curious about them. Then they faked their divorce and amazingly got back together. She has also had a single out (awful!) and has had cameos in a movie also.

They are famous for being idiots....tht's about it!

Lets hope they make enough money to slink out of the our lives forwever otherwise they will think they are so loved they will hang around like a bad smell.

Are they still 'big' over in the US?
