NO!! NO!! NO!! on many levels that is so wrong
well they get a christmas bonus (even the ones who aren't christian) so why not?
I don't mean to be Sandy. I just think we're so lucky to even get the benefits we do in this country.
Splendid idea.
It'll end up in the tills, anyway, and be recycled to the treasury one way or another. :o)
lol.. why don't you treat them all, Sandy?
Why do people lump all people who get benefits together. Most pensioners get benefit from the government.

I was wanting those in gainful employment to treat me. An extra £20 would allow us to toast them: Good health and long life
ummmm might share a can of Stella with you, if you're lucky.
I DON'T DRINK FECKING STELLA....x

OH would give you one though :-)

A can of stella that is...

There's champagne on offer at the local offie for just under £20 a bottle. A glass or two of that would serve as a toast
Yes please, although I am not guaranteeing to drink to the health of anyone or spend it on anything I don't want to spend it on. Just a thought, is retirement pension counted as a benefit?
I don't think so Star.....

Some get pension credits though.
The Queen could buy everybody a pint and not miss it.
I'll make do with the day off work - oh, hang on, no change there then.
Definitely sandy -- will be able to borrow a few bob of my friends.
No....let them buy the drink from the benefits they already receive.
