Foreign Animation

Does anyone remember a weird German(?) animation called something like "Murran Buchstanzinger"? It was on a few years ago and was about a blue man who lived in skirting boards. What is the right name of this animation, and can you tell me anything more about it?

It's Murun Buchstansangur ... "Highly strange animated tales of a strange creature (with human characteristics) who lived under the kitchen sink in a suburban home. Murun looked like one of the Ribena berries and had a Frankie Howerd style hairdo." Narrated/written/directed by Timothy Forder. Five episodes, made in 1985.
