I know the new doctor in Eastenders is Zainabs ex husband but why do they hate each other so much, She seems afraid of him, what have I missed??

when she was younger before she married massud and had all the kids, in Pakistan it was i think, supposedly, not in the UK, I think, sod it I don;t even care lol

its ok naz I know you dont watch it as it was the doctors father that set her on fire not him, so you cant ever have possibly watched it. You are safe :-)

I'm sure the ex husband said something about how he apparantly tried to get in and save her himself (think it was more of a family honour thing) and showed Zainab burns he sustained from it when they first came face to face again.

They were husband and wife from an arranged marriage and Yusef's family had poured oil on her and set her on fire. Yusef says it was his family, not him, and he attempted to save her, revealing bad scarring on his body.
