Which actress played the prostitute in Desperate Housewives last night?

The lady of the night Maisy Gibbons was played by actress Sharon Lawrence, and in answer to another post there are 18 episodes in this series, but I don't know if they are being shown here (UK) in one single series...........hope so, as I'm loving this show, it it so darkly comic!

She is one of those TV jobbing actresses who always seem to pop up in something or other, although I remember her from NYPD where she played a prosecutor - I think!
