i am in the process of transferring loads of stuff across to a 32gb sd card, but its saying its going to take over 5 hours ( i know its not always correct, but its already been copying 3 hours!)
so i want to pause it for a while an carry on where i left off tomorrow so that i can watch a film on here, as its making the machine a bit sluggish...

is there a way to do this, that wont cancel what i have already copied and also wont miss anything out
i have no way of knowing whats already been copied over yet you see

thanks

Nope.
If you stop it .. some will be left to copy over and you will NOT know what they are. If I were you, I would leave alone. If you leave the process on top, with not much else running, it will be considerably quicker.
Maybe one or both are USB1.1 instead of USB2

If you plug a USB2 device into a USB1 port, Windows will give you a warning about speed.
