Sorry to be going on this topic. But I rang Richer Sounds and they had only make which was a Phillips and one TV - what do you think of Philips make - I really never thought they were much good. What are your opinions. Also what is this 1080p and 1090p thing - would I be better looking for a 1090 thing. thanks for any answers.

My mum used to swear by Philips because they were Dutch and knew how to make stuff well. Probably not much Dutch about them these days but they're a reputable make.

I've just got rid of my Phillips 30" LCD TV........lovely tele and only got rid 'cos I wanted a bigger one.
