i am a silent movie fan. There is a film staring lilian gish called "broken blossoms" a scene called the smile. she is abused by her dad and he tells her to put a smile on her face even though she is heart broken a magical piece of cinema history no words spoken, just pure emotion genius !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
